Bradley E. Heard founded The Heard Law Offices, LLC in 2001. The firm represented individual and business clients primarily in the areas of employment discrimination, education, business litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.

A magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Mr. Heard received his Juris Doctor degree from the Yale Law School in New Haven, Connecticut. After graduating from law school, Mr. Heard served as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge James R. Spencer in Richmond, Virginia. He is currently licensed to practice law in Georgia and the District of Columbia. 

In 2007, Mr. Heard began winding up his Atlanta law practice and moved to Washington, DC, to further pursue his new career focus as a voting rights attorney.
