CASE UPDATE (September
2006) : Bradley E. Heard serves as lead counsel in a pro bono voting
rights lawsuit filed by a coalition of Georgia and national civic and
voting rights groups, challenging new Georgia State Election Board
restrictions on third-party voter registration activity. A federal judge
has granted a preliminary injunction in favor of the civic groups,
blocking the challenged rules. (Click

2005): Bradley E. Heard recognized by Who’s Who in Black Atlanta.
CASE UPDATE (May2005):
Bradley E. Heard successfully argued a precedent-setting pro bono
voting rights case in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh
Circuit. The case affirmed an earlier federal district court ruling
requiring the State of Georgia to comply with the National Voter
Registration Act by allowing private groups to conduct voter registration
drives and to collect and submit completed voter registration forms to
state and local elections officials for processing.
